1. Tell us 3 things about you? a. I am a closet nerd. b. I have an immense capacity of forgiveness. I believe forgiveness is a spiritual act. A sort of alchemy of the heart. c. My heart is at sea.

2. How did Holixtic happen to you? Tell us about it and what you want to offer through it... Holixtic is an extension of myself, of years of practice, of what I love, believe and are incredibly passionate about. It started one year ago, when I closed my juice company and decide to leave Ashtanga Yoga New York. I had been apprenticing and teaching there with my teacher and mentor Eddie Stern for the past 7 years. I felt like it was time to spread my wings and focus on my own journey.

The intention behind it was creating a platform where I share ideas, videos, recipes and information that inspire people to become healthy, whole and holy. A cross pollination of the worlds of visual arts, wellness, health, and social interaction to elevate, connect and nourish the physical, spiritual and emotional body. I want to be of service, a spiritual activist!

3. Tell us about your daily yoga practice...

My love affair with Yoga started 15 years ago in London. I became a dedicated Ashtangi, practicing 6 days a week and travelling consistently to India and other parts of the world to study.

But just like any relationship there has been so many stages to my daily practice, it keeps for ever changing and evolving, it is not a linear trajectory and its never ending work. I had to deal with a serious back injury for the past two years. This experience was so humbling, it taught me so much about myself and my practice. It really opened my mind and changed my relationship to it. It had to, as at some point I could barely do a Sun Salutation . I had to find a way to heal myself. So, I started experimenting and creating my own exercises and flows that felt good in my body. Listening to my body and giving it what it needed. Yoga is all about experiential perception.

I was also introduced to Transcendental meditation and this became a very important part of my daily practice. For a while it was all I could and it was exactly the medicine i needed.

4. What is your biggest dream? My dream is to move to a tropical place, with perfect waves and lot’s of coconuts! Here, I would build a healing centre, where i would live in a community of artists, healers and like minded people. A place where we would live in community, close to nature, grow our own food and help people heal.

5. What feels like love to you? a. My sons touch. b. Nature. c. When you get that feeling in your stomach, and everything is vibrating, and pulses. You feel alive and aware. Your feelings are intense and persistent . All of a sudden your perception changes, and you can see better, like if you had a new pair of eyes. But everything around you is the same as before, but looks better, smells better, tastes better, feels better.

6. Share with us one of your magical holixtic recipes?

COCONUT MATCHA * 9.5 oz of any activated nut milk ( i love it with almond or coconut) * 1.5 dates * 1.5 tsp matcha powder dissolved in a little bit of hot water * 1 tbs raw almond butter Blend all the ingredients well. Then add 5 oz of fresh young coconut meat, and blend in low. The coconut should be chunky and not completely blended.

7. The best advice you had been given.

Don’t Resist. Surrender to what is.
