October Song of the Month, Heaven can Wait. Charlotte Gainsburg, British-French actress and singer. She is the daughter of French singer and songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, who i have liked since long time ago living and studying in Paris.

This version is even more special as she has the song adapted with magnificent electronic L.A producer Nosaj Thing. He is one the tops for me as he crafts stately, ethereal, synth-based instrumental hip-hop, with influences that range from Boards of Canada and DJ Shadow to Danny Elfman and Erik Satie.

A bit controversial, a bit strange, but this song brings about my experience of life. Sometimes like I live in a very mysterious space, waves of my mind being from another place, sometimes I feel I am surrounded by Spirits and Guides indeed, maybe I am. Somewhere between my reality and my fantasy. Somewhere between the inner and outer battles where we know what we need and what we know, somewhere where we fight for what we crave so deeply.

This is why I love music so much, it reveals to me so many beautiful phases of who I am, what I feel, where I am at and where I want to go.

"She's sliding, she's sliding down to the depth of the world, She's fighting, she's fighting, the urge to make sand out of pearls.

...Somewhere between, what you need and what you know..."
