Supernatural Love by SideStepper

Oh Sidestepper, you cannot be missed. I love them, they make me dance, sing and uplift my heart in many ways.

Last weekend I was visiting Brighton with my little tribe and as we were walking down a main street, I heard Sidestepper in the background.. oh it brought so many warm memories, i just wanted to dance. They bring a smile to my face. I think dancing to music is also yoga, they are yoga to me.

Feeling it. Receiving it. Supernatural Love.

They are pioneers of the electro-Latin sound, mixing beats with Colombia’s loping, accordion-led cumbia. Here, Sidestepper take a contrary turn with an essentially acoustic set shot through with soft electronica and led by easy female vocals. There are hand drums, shakers, flutes, call-and-response chants, and a feeling of Bogotá’s historic quarter where it was cut.
